Insecurity in Haiti - Real of Fake?
Haitians are so freaked out about "insecurity in Haiti" that they pay no attention to the fact that some cities around the world are extremely dangerous to visit. All the while, the tourism industry in these country are thriving.
Maybe one day I will tell you all about my trip to Playa Del Carmen, a tourist spot located about 45 minutes south of Cancun, Mexico. But today, I want you to read this article if you have not read it yet.

I hope it changes your mind about what you believe about Haiti, most importantly, what those who profit from our demise want you to believe.
Pick any country in the world and Google "ten most dangerous cities" for that country. you will realize Haiti is pretty safe when compared to some real hell holes out there.
I mean don't get me wrong, no way in hell I am going to Village de Dieu, a bad neighborhood in Port-au-Prince. But does that represent the entire country?
That's what they want you to believe.
