Last year, Haitian-Japanese Tennis player Naomi Osaka made history when she beat Serena Williams to win her first US Open title. This year, Osaka is back as defending champion.

The knee injury that forced her to retire during her quarterfinals match against Sofia Kenin in the Western & Southern Open is no longer is so painful.
Naomi Osaka is ready to kick some ass at the 2019 US Open in Flushing Meadows.
A very comfortable Naomi Osaka told reporters Friday she feels comfortable "not because I won last year. It's because I have been kind of hitting on these courts since I was a kid. I used to train here."
