KREYOL: Haiti - President Martelly di: Si GOUD la ap pran BAF devan DOLA Ameriken jodi a, se fòt ANCIEN dirijan yo ki te fè yon bann MOVE deal... Haiti ap peye vye deal sa yo jounen jodi a... Kisa ou panse de sa?

Responding to criticism that it his government who is at fault for the steep increase in the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Haitian gourde, President Martelly said "Haiti made some bad deals in the past, so now we are paying for it..."

Martelly criticized an old accord signed between Haiti and the United States back in 1994 that bombarded the country with American rice making US Farmers richer and crippled the production of rice and the economy in Haiti...

The dollar is rising because we do not make dollars, Martelly said. Haiti produced nothing, we import everything and export nothing.

What do you think about that?
