An American Priest in Haiti brokers a Peace Pledge between 4 rival gangs while the Government cannot or will not
A signed peace agreement between 4 rival gangs in Haiti
"I live in an area that was recently designated by the United Nations as the most dangerous and destitute slum in the world," Father Tom Hagan said. "I meet the top gang leaders almost every day."
Father Tom Hagan announced he brokered a deal, a "peace pledge" between four gang leaders:
Gabriel Jean-Pierre (Ti-Gabriel), Mathias Saintil (Mathias / G-Pep), Iscard Andrice (Iska) and Jimmy Cherizier (Barbecue / G-9).
It is a peace pledge in the name the Lord and it is making headlines in the mainstream media.
Like I said in the article title, either the government cannot or is unwilling to do do this. Father Hagen seems to think the same way as I.
"There are politicians who really don't want stability because as long as it's unstable, they don't have to have elections," the priest said.
Gang violence in Haiti is manufactured by people who will stop at nothing to control Haiti and the Haitian people; to keep them living and slave like conditions.
The little effort father Hagen made proves that the day we want peace and prosperity in Haiti, it will require very little effort since no effort is being made at all. However, I hate to say it, we have to get rid of the rotten apples in the bunch. There will be no change with them in it.

May God bless us and protect all of us, as posted on the last line of Father Hagan's peace pledge
