Haitian Style Spaghetti - The Ingredients

Here are the ingredients for cooking a Haitian Spaghetti: Onions, smoked herring (2 mak aransò), Hot pepper (piment), Garlic (lay) and other spices... Ketchup, and of course SPAGHETTI... LOL

The price of Spaghetti has gone up by 75% in Haiti. Haitians who love to cook and eat spaghetti will have to spend 35 gourdes per bag if they want to cook it at home.

Spaghetti and eggs in the morning has become a popular breakfast food in Haiti but the sad part of it is that all that spaghetti is imported into the country. Why is not made in Haiti? Manufacturing it in Haiti would create much needed jobs in the country.
