We will never know the exact number of souls who perished a year ago, and I am thinking half a million human beings died on January 12 last year. Port au Prince was packed with ten people in one room, and the government is incompetent.

We need to pray for them, and hope GOD will have mercy on all of us. I spent the first 15 years of my life in Haiti, and have not been home in 25 years.

The country went back one hundred years, and I do not recognize this Haiti.

You can sponsor one child for $25 per month, and I strongly recommend LOVE A CHILD.

The money covers education, meals, health care, clothes, shoes, and you will save one life. You must make a commitment to support the kid until at least the age of 18 years old. You can send one child to University, and it will not be in vain. I urge you to visit their website, and see the accomplishment of one white couple.

You can also volunteer if you are in the medical field, and can get there from Santo Domingo.

It is very close to the border, and they will send a van to pick you up. They are now building small homes for the amputees, and could probably use other skills as well.
