I understand that they want to be their separate "community", but they need to understand that creole is creole, and they don't need to be ashamed to be called Haitian creole.

Some people are ashamed to be label as Haitian creole because of how poor we were robbed, but Louisiana isn't any richer.

And also the stupid voodoo crap needs to stop. A couple times when i told someone i was haitian, they'd say "I'm not gonna mess will you because your people do voodoo"...
