Five Haitian police officers fired after setting fire at Champs de Mars carnival stands
The directorate of the Haitian National Police Force has just fired five police officers and more will be fired after a violent incident in Champs de Mars where police set ablaze Carnival stands.
On tuesday, February 18, 2020, officer Yanick Joseph, coordinator of a police union not authorized by the high command of the police institution, was dismissed Acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Normil Rameau.
Yanick Joseph is not the only one to be hit by this sanction. 4 other of his comrades are also expelled from the police institution.

Breaking News... A Haitian judge, Antoine Lycius, was just shot and killed at tabarre 42 midday Thusday January 07, 2010.
Antoine Lycius was a well known judge in the commune of Delmas / Tabarre, working at a courthouse at Carrefour Aeroport, according to news reports.
Some news agencies reported Lyciu is a former judge, he was murdered around 1:00pm nor far from the BLTS base and that his hand gun was taken by his assailants.
The police and a judge were already at the crime scene as of 3:00pm.
FLASH: Clifford Brandt sentenced to 20 years in prison for Kidnapping
Breaking News - Rich businessman Clifford Brandt to 20 years behind bars for his involvement in the kidnapping followed by the sequestration of Nicolas and Coralie Moscoso by the criminal court of Gonaives.
Clifford H. Brandt and his gang, Edner Comé and Ricot Pierre-Val, will all spend 20 years in prison. Carlo Bendel Saint-Fort is sentenced to 17 years in prison.
This court case has been ongoing since December 2018, finnally the court decided in the fate of these high profile kidnappers in Haiti.
Michael Lucius, Former Haiti Judicial Police director murdered in cold blood
Vivi Mitchel Haiti -- Former Haiti Judicial Police (DCPJ) director Michael Lucius was murdered Sunday 01 December, 2019, near his home by unknown individuals on motorcycle.
According to news reports, Michael Lucius had just arrived in Haiti from a trip abroad. As he was entering the area of Belle Ville and Vivi Mitchel he was attacked by armed bandits and shot nine times.
An investigation is underway to try to identify the individuals responsible for this crime.

Godson Orelus, ex Haiti Police chief, arrested in Saint-Marc in connection with illegal firearms import
Godson Orelus, the former Director General of the Haitian National Police force (PNH) was arrested and placed in custody in Saint-Marc Friday by the investigating judge in charge of the case of the seizure of weapons that were imported into Haiti illegally back in 2016.

According to news reports the investigative judge who made the arrest aims that the former police chief is the one who authorized the shipment of the illegal weapons that were seized in customs in Saint-Marc back in 2016.

This is the craziest news coming from Haiti... A Haitian man gets his woman pregnant, he also impregnates the woman's sister and her two daughters in the same house at the same time. One of the daughters is a 13 year old girl.

American Missionary who lived in Haiti sentenced to 23 years for child sex abuse
There are many missionaries who go to Haiti everyday but not all of them go with the in intention to spread the gospel and help the little children. One of those missionaries from Virginia who lived in Haiti for more than a decade has been just sentenced to 23 years in prison for child sexual abuse in Haiti.
Earlier this year, James Arbaugh, 40, pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of traveling in foreign commerce from the U.S. to Haiti to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a child.

St Jeanne Cadet, Sister of Ministre Josué Agénor Cadet, died at the hospital shortly after receiving several bullets from hooded individuals on motorbikes.
The incident happened shortly before midnight Monday, April 9, 2018. "She was sitting on the terrace of the family home in St-Louis du Nord when she was attacked," said Ministre Josué Agenor Cadet, told Le Nouvelliste, shaken by the brutal murder of his half-sister.
