Haitian man going to Prison in Stamford CT after 16 years hiding in Haiti
A Haitian man, Frantz Barthelemy, ran away from the law in Stamford Connecticut one day before being convicted of first-degree assault with a pistol. He went to Haiti, got married, had 4 children, opened a business. 16 yeas later, he was caught by U.S. Marshals in Haiti and extradited back to the United States to pay for his crime.

A model citizen in Haiti, his past caught up with him. Frantz Barthelemy worked for the red cross in Haiti after the earthquake, lived under his own name and he even had a permit to legally carry a gun in Haiti.
