Frantz Barthelemy, 39, formerly of Stamford was extradited from Haiti where he fled to in 2001 as he was being convicted of first-degree assault with a pistol. Mug shot taken in 2000.

A Haitian man, Frantz Barthelemy, ran away from the law in Stamford Connecticut one day before being convicted of first-degree assault with a pistol. He went to Haiti, got married, had 4 children, opened a business. 16 yeas later, he was caught by U.S. Marshals in Haiti and extradited back to the United States to pay for his crime.
