Many of these diaspora Haitian men are married. They have a wife in New York, Miami or Boston. These gigolos make the vulnerable Haitian woman back in Haiti think she is the only one.

The girlfriend in Haiti opens her heart, body and soul to this lying cheating Diaspora man thinking it's together forever. But soon enough, she discovers that all she will benefit from this relationship is the few money transfers she already received, or worse, a child.

One Haitian woman complained about all the sleepless nights she had to stay on the phone with her Diaspora boyfriend in the Unite States who works as a truck driver. She keeps him company on the phone during the late nights while he drives his truck to keep him awake.

This jealous man insisted she stay on the phone with her every night, obviously so he could stay awake on the job. One year later she discovered he had a wife and two kids in the diaspora.
