MTV Networks To Receive an Award in part for Haiti Relief Efforts

MTV Networks will Receive the 2010 Mickey Leland Humanitarian Achievement Award this year, in part, for the Hope for Haiti telethon.

MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central are all part of MTV Networks (MTVN).

MTVN has a very young and captive audience, including the young Haitian Americans gowing up here in the United States.

So... When MTVN broadcasts a message about Haiti, it resonates in the ears of the younger generation, Haiti's younger diaspora generation as well.

When MTV broadcasted the Hope for Haiti Now telethon a few days after earthquake devastation, it had a really big impact on the island nation.

Do you watch MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central?

How do you feel about their support of Haiti after the earthquake?
