Earthquake in Haiti - Haitian Flag - Collapsed University

The last two years, 12 Janvier was observed as a national holiday to remember the earthquake in Haiti. This year, the Haitian government said the day would no longer be a holiday but called for the Haitian flag to be flown at half-mast and for nightclubs to close.

There was a small ceremony held at the grounds of the Haiti National Palace. It was a brief gathering, the Associated Press says, presided by President Martelly.

What does that mean?

I think it means it is time for us to move on.

It is time for us to focus on being better prepared for the next natural disaster.

It is time for some of us to realize that no one is coming

It is time for reconstruction to start from the inside.

No one is coming... get on with your life!

This is is my opinion, this is how I feel today!

Au President et Gouvernement haitien.

Today I am so sad not only for 300.000 people died during the earthquake, but also for more than 360.000 people who still stay suffering under the tentes.

L'argent des carnavals passes et celui d'avenir pourraient bien aider ses desherites du sort a sortir de cette impasse.

I am sorry for only the good Christians who was victim, but it is meaningless because because God in heaven saw they was ready to meet Jesus in the air in the future, great.

White-now I am in port au prince, I have to tell you what I feel. Port au Prince we had from 1943-1957 is totally disappear, I would like God in heaven to pass more earthquake in Haiti to destroy all the ugly houses and unsecured houses, kidnapers, thieves, the wicked, VOODOO, freemason, gangsters, loup garoup, zobop, shampoel, false prophets etc. of Haiti to rebuild Haiti properly.
