A 2012 Study conducted by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) reveals that Haiti is one of the safest destinations, not just in the Caribbean, but throughout all the Americas.

If you think Haiti is a dangerous place read this:

In 2012 according to the UNODC, Haiti's violent death rate of 6.9 out of every hundred thousand Haitians is among the lowest rates in the Americas, and the same as Long Beach, California. Read more here.

I like that... I've always been saying that Haitians have to promote Haiti. This information came from a press release from la Primature, the office of the Haitian Prime Minister.

People who asked why I like going to Haiti all the time with all the insecurity stuffs that are going on. My answer, Haiti is like any other place in the world you can be in the wrong place at the right time and that is how you can become a victim.

Haiti do have its issues that are way difference from the early 80's WE would like Haiti to remain the paradise that it is with all its beauty.

I have been traveling to Haiti yearly for the past 20 Years.

In that period of time, I have never had any problems while there.
