If there is one image of a Haiti street protest worth sharing, this one certainly is the one... Look at this amazing photo from the October 17 2018 Haiti street protest you probably haven't seen yet! You have to see it to believe it.

The media, national and international, often show you pictures of Haitian street protesters confronting the Haitian National Police men and women, tear gas thrown, and the policemen, overwhelms by their duty to serve and protect who often result to a little confrontation with the protesters but how often do you see this?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. How much is this one worth?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... Look at the FEAR in the eyes of this poor Haitian woman during a street protest, captured by the lens of a photographer for Le Nouvelliste during the October 17 2018 street protests.

For those of you who are not used to the reality of Haiti, this obviously poor Haitian woman tucked herself under a 'bak machan', a table like wooden structure used by street vendors in Haiti. She is clearly afraid of something.

She fears for her life!

Look at this photo... Soldiers from the new Haitian Army are helping the people of Port-de-Paix clearing the streets of debris after a 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit the city on Oct 6.

The new Haitian army was deployed in the area to assist in the aftermath of the earthquake.

Haitian actor Daniel Fils-Aimé, famously known as Tonton Bicha reacts to the domestic violence perpetrated against I Love You Anne co-star Nice Simon by her man Yves Leonard. Listen to a radio interview he gave to Radio Caraibes FM.

I condenm what happened, Tonton Bicha said. Before anyone lays a hand on another person, you have to think about the consequences.

Bicha is friend with both parties, he spoke to both of them he said and got both sides of the story but he said let the justice system handle it.

"Mayor Nice Simon did her part. She press charges and you will realize that the consequences will be harsh," the actor said.
