I would love to go back to Haiti and invest my time and money and some day retire there, but I cannot.

I was born in Haiti in 1959 and now a naturalized US citizen.

Because Haiti do not have a dual-citizenship policy I would have no rights there.

But I help in many ways. Right now I am helping to built a school in Archaie and sending drums of supplies to my friends there.

I think Haitian politicians should realize that having a dual-citizenship status will benefit Haiti.

I believe that's why most successful nations have that.
