The problem doesn't lie in english or creole.

All native haitians speak creole.

The mere fact that this language is not spoken worldwide, put most haitian who doesn't speak another language at a disadvantage in the sphere of communication with people from other part of the world.

However, the french language is part of Haiti's rich cultural heritage and also the official language of the country.

How can you people want to vote on something like this. This is ridiculous, Haitians have been so unhappy with whatever is theirs while trying to adopt what is and will never be theirs.

I never see so much controversy.

Look around you, the other island have also their dialects as well as their official language, they do not take vote on the issue to adopt something else. At the present time Haiti is like a volcano.

We have issues that are much more important than trading the french language for English or creole.

Let see if we can stop killing each other and start getting along before the volcano erupts.
