I live in New-York, and I am considering moving back to Haiti in a near future.

My main concern is insecurity in Haiti, especially in and around Port-au-Prince, on top of the lack of electricity and potable water etc...

My advice to someone who is considering to move back to Haiti?

Port-au-Prince is not ready for you. It is still dangerously unstable.

Chimeres or the bad guys still confront the national police every now and then, because they still have heavy weapons in their possession.

I think one has a better chance to survive if you live away from Port-au-Prince, which is what I am planning to do.
