Free food, Free drinks, what Haitians expect at a funeral these days, it's like a fiesta!

One of my neighbors went to a funeral in the countryside after one of his uncle passed away. When he came back I asked him how did everything go. His answer will shock you...

Funeral in Haiti
Funeral in Haiti

The man looked at me and said:

"Monchè, abitan pa bay bèf nan antèman ankò!"

Translation: "Man, Haitians from the countryside do not serve beef at funerals anymore!"

So the man went to the uncle's funeral expecting to eat well and drink to his heart's content at the expense of the dearly departed.

What a shame!

I gotta tell you, Funerals in Haiti is a freeloader's adventure. Ask anyone. People go to funerals to consume what's left of the dearly departed's bank account.

What is your funeral story?

I will tell you very sincerely, I don't believe freeloaders are a Haitian trend.

They must have taken it from the French, or others.

Mankind 's values are getting lower and lower.

Depressing...

Second, //www.belpolitik.com/messages/92444">belpolitik.com/messages/92444 I rate Nicolás Maduro very high on the dictators list.
