What Haitians Do On Valentines Day!

L'amour! Oui Oui! La Saint Valentin! Oh Mon Dieu! Fruit de la passion! someone told me what that was!I know that Haitians listen to a lot of Chansonnette Francaise (French love songs) but when the day comes, Valentines day. what type of activities, besides the obvious, do we Haitians do on Valentines day?

Do you buy flowers?

Do you make her follow the rose petal line all the way to the bedroom?

Or you do you say: "The kids are here! wait til they go to bed"

I just did a Google search on "Haiti St Valentin" and "Haiti On Valentines Day" and guess what, there is absolutely no websites out there that discusses "La Saint Valentin en Haiti".

Online it seems that we are the only people who do not celebrate Valentines Day. That's not true is it?
