Ou sonje nan , I was telling you how embarrassed I was being the "GWO Disapora" in Haiti, talking to VIPs on the phone, epi... KLOUP... apel koupe... Telephone Voila-m pa gen kat?
Ou sonje sa?

Epi nan , ou sonje... I accidentally gave one lucky Voila customer 1,385 gourdes of FREE Voila cell phone Minutes... epi... le-m rele, panse se petet yon joli demwazel, epi se yon gro mal neg ki ki reponn mwen...
LOL... Ou sonje sa?
Bon... Pati sa-a pi red... Believe me...
About six months later I went back to Haiti.
Usually, I will leave my voila cell phone with my cousin Modeline, and every time there is a Voila 2-for-1 Dekabes, I add some minutes to it so I can keep the phone number active.
Fwa sa-a... Le-m rive Haiti, Modeline di-m konsa...
Modeline: "Woody... Neg la te rele-w wi..."
Me: "Ki neg sa?"
Modeline: "Neg Voila-a... Client Voila... Ou sonje? Neg ou te charger telephone li pa aksidan-an..."
Me: "Ohhh... Yer.... Li te rele? Sa-l te bezwen?"
Modeline: "Li di li pa gen minit, tout minit li yo fini, eske ou ka mete minit pou li anko?"
LMAO...
An verite Dye...
Mwen manke trangle nan ji grenadia mwen tap bwe-a...
I don't give minute to strangers no more but, from time to time, I do login to and add minutes to the cell phones of my family and friends in the 509!
Haiti, that is.
