First, what is a superfood?
A superfood, yes, one word, is a nutrient-rich food considered to be especially beneficial for health and well-being.
Avocado is superfood because it has a ton of nutrients and antioxidants including Omega 3, folic acid,magnesium, potassium, lutein and fibre.
Avocado is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E,Vitamin K and B Group vitamins as well. And that's not all as it owns an important presence of copper, manganese and iron.
Some people are don't went to eat avocado because they say it is high in fat. Yes, Avocado is high in fat, 1 cup of sliced avocado contains about 21 grams of fat but more than 75% of the fat in avocados is unsaturated fats aka good fats.
