Chicago - Haitian founder Jean Baptiste DuSable Statue Vandalized

The bronze statue honoring Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable, the Haitian founder of Chicago, was vandalized recently, vandals painted over the eyes of the statue with black paint...

Is it a coincidence? The statue was vandalised on Martin Luther King weekend.

Luckily, the statue was cleaned up and restored without any permanent damage.

What do you think about that?
