Wishful Thinking

Sometimes I report something about Haiti and I have absolutely nothing to say about it. Good or bad... Or maybe I want to say something but I think it's best I just keep my mouth shut.

Times like these, I remember the Forrest Gump.

"That's all I have to say about that."

The Haitian Creole translation for this is: "M pap di way!"

I am not gonna lie to you, as a Haitian myself, I have a hard time understanding how some of these people think... The Haitian mentality, Jesus...

Are you a fan of the TV show Designated Survivor? The character Mike Ritter said: "Progress can sometimes skip a generation". made me think, which generation did progress skip in Haiti? LOL...
