Look at this photo, a new home construction in the middle of nowhere outside of a Haitian city... Don't be alarmed... Soon there will be lots of houses here...

This is a new housing development in Sapaterre, Centre Haiti, it is only a few miles from Hinche and the mountain view is breathtaking...

Nowadays the little Haitian cities are really getting congested and, because of that, many Haitians are buying land in the outskirts of these cities and building bigger houses.

Look at this photo... an SUV parked in under a mango tree next to an agricultural fence in Haiti.

You may be looking at this photo thinking it's in the middle of nowhere. It's not... Less than 200 yards from that mango tree is a big modern Haitian home being built by a diaspora who plans to retire in Haiti.

This photo is taken on the edge of a new village being constructed outside of the city of Hinche, Plateau Centrale Haiti, in locality called Sapaterre (Sapatè)

In the not too distant future, there will be a road, in the exact spot you see this vehicle parked.
