Haiti - Yon Chodyè sou 3 Pye Difé

Gade photo saa... Lè ou ale andeyò an Haiti, ou rantre nan lakizinn lan, wa-p remake 3 wòsh kòt a kòt nan mitan kizinn la, 3 wòsh sa yo rele "3 Pye Difé," LOL... Si-w gen chans menm, ou ka jwen yon gwo chodyè chita sou tèt 3 pye difé sa yo ak kichòy ki ap kwit andedan li... Andeyo, yo rele sa "Lamanjay"

Ayayay...

Kisa ki pase nan tèt ou lè w-ap gade photo saa?

Charcoal Burning in Haiti - Charcoal as Cooking Fuel

Charcoal Burning in Haiti - Charcoal as Cooking Fuel

Look at this photo, charcoal being burned, charcoal being used as cooking fuel in Haiti. This is how most trees in Haiti end up... ashes in someone's kitchen after a cooked meal.

There has to be an alternative... there are alternatives

Charcoal is Haiti's chief source of fuel and the #1 cause for deforestation and environmental disasters.

As long as Haitians continue to use charcoal for cooking deforestation will continue.
