On Thursday, December 27, 2018, President Jovenel Moise paid a visit to the ravaged radio Kiskeya, a popular radio station in capital Port-au-Prince, to offer his moral support to the management and the entire team.

Although Jovenel Moise was not a favorite of journalist Liliane Pierre-Paul, and certainly not Dandin's favorite. the president demonstrated the virtue of a great statesman.

The fire, which occurred on the evening of Friday, December 21, dealt a severe blow to this cherished heritage, but the President's gesture brought hope and reassurance to those affected by the tragedy.

On Monday 31 July, 2023, Radio Kiskeya announced the death of their famous journalist Liliane Pierre-Paul over the air. The Haitian media was mourning the death of one their best.
