If Haiti is to move to the next level, all monetary transactions and activities must be disclosed not only to reasure the Haitian population that the government is holding up to its fiduciary duties, but also to the international community in order to foster trust and ultimately to invite investments from foreign investors.

This requires the establishment of independent auditors for periodic reviews of accounts, who have no ties or links with the government officials or auditees.
