we should pray to god and ask for his help, but we cannot make him responsible for ayiti's dive into the abyss.

i am a believer in the son of god, and i also pray for my country.

but let's be honest: there are many nations on earth that are better off than ayiti without a total conversion to christianity.

all ayiti needs is for its children to learn to respect and obey the laws of the land.

consider these 2 points:

1)take a closer look and you will see that there are rich and poor among the christians the same way that there are rich and poor among the vodouists.

it's not a matter of who you serve; it's a question of how the country is run, how the wealth is acquired and shared.

2)in our society, there are educated and illiterate christians the same way that some vodouists are college graduates while others cannot even write their own names.

here, it's a matter of making education available to all.

ayiti will change when everybody gets more or less the same opportunities.

it's not god's fault: it's ours.
