Frankly, I don't think a Haitian should ever loose his nationality because where we come from has a lot to do with who we are and what we are brought up to be. If someone doesn't want to claim they are Haitian then they should be the ones to lose their nationality because it's their choice and they are the disclaimer.

Haiti needs a lot of support right now and yes it does hurt to lose even one of our peoples but if they don't want to be a Haitian then why should we claim them. We should just set them free. For the rest of us Haitians (haitian-americans also) I think that it's unfair that Haiti's constitution states we are not Haitian.

Without us (the ones in other countries) Haiti's economy would crumble and the poverty rates would increase.

We are the ones who works and makes a living just to support the family we have overseas, in addition to the family we have in our adopted countries.

We have the right to be called a Haitian.

And another thing we are the ones who publicize Haiti's greatness to the world.

We show America and other countries Haiti's great artists' paintings, Haiti's landscape, and their rich culture.

Without us Haiti would not be receiving so much attention.

Point blank, we are Haitians and no one has the right to deny us our right (not even Haiti's constitution).
