Hey Yvette,

From what I gathered, there are many "Haitian Community Centers" in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens but none in the Bronx.

It seems like that there is a big Haitian population in the Bronx without Haitian local resources.

I suggest you do some digging by primarily contacting those existing agencies.

Check Haitian Community Center.

(NY) and go from there.

I am not sure what you are trying to do. If you want to join an organization, you may have to travel to other boroughs.

Have you ever thought of OPENING up your own Center?

Again, I do not know of your educational background.

If you do not have experience in community affairs, then, it seems to reason to gain the proper knowledge before opening up your own. I personally grew-up in Manhattan but know that the Bronx, especially the Heights can greatly benefited from a Haitian Center.
