In Haiti we had soup early morning around ten O'clock then go visiting people.

The first one was Daurismond who always had brand new dollars and gourdes passing to each kid who come as "Jour de l'an"

When I was in NY, my late sister Lili always made soup.

When I lived in NY, Manhattan my friends would made it mostly King Wes, bless him. He would invite everyone to come and drink soup. If my friend don't make it, we would find a place to go and drink soup joumou.

I remember living in Scotland I always made my soup joumou day alive.

When we left UK and moved to Florida we meet Rick who became a great friend and his parents Max and Maude the best couple you could ever see. They invited for soup which became a soup joumou routine.

Now I live in Georgia and my soup joumou is still around our house.

My wife has added a few things in it as her such as "real table sitting"
