Did you know : The US State Department issued a "Haiti Level 4 Do Not Travel" advisory recently
The highest travel advisory level issued by the U.S. State Department is a "Level 4 DO NOT Travel" warning or advisory. This travel advisory was issued for Haiti Monday following the gas price hike violent protests.
Haiti Travel Warning - Level 4: Do Not Travel
For a country in the Caribbean who would greatly benefit from tourism, it is ridiculous that the behavior of its own citizens would trigger a level travel advisory telling foreigners do not travel to that country.
It is the government's fault?
Is it the people's fault?
It doesn't matter, the travel warning does not say do not travel to the national palace. It says, do not travel to Haiti.
Haitians citizens and authorities really need to think about stopping this kind of behavior.
It's the 21st century, it's the information age. Whatever you do, however you behave, it is displayed on the world stage instantly due to social media. News travel fast, like you didn't know that.
