Trinidad and Haiti in list of 35 countries with high risk of kidnapping - US State Dept

Can you believe this? An American woman and her tour guide get kidnapped in Uganda, Africa, suddenly Haiti is in a list of countries not to visit because high kidnapping rates.

When was the last time you heard of a kidnapping that took place in Haiti? I live in Haiti and I haven't heard this in quite some time.

The US State Department warns Americans of a high kidnapping risk in 35 nations and Haiti is in that list, and one other country in the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago.

High-threat countries including Uganda, and of course, Haiti, will now be labeled with a "K" in order to "communicate more clearly to US citizens the risks of kidnapping and hostage taking by criminal and terrorist actors around the world," the department said Tuesday.

Hmmm... Adjeeeee!!!!

Haitian News:

Reference above article of Haiti being on high risk kidnapping countries list by the US State Department: Whether in actual fact, true or not, that's the perception.

As things stand today, Haiti is a lost cause country.
