Haiti now has reception and delivery centers for identity documents (CRLDI) with the task of delivering the passports to anyone intersted in getting a passport.

As long as you have the proper identification documents, go to DGI office in the major city near you and you will find one of these centers.

In french these centers are called "Centre de Réception et de Livraison de Documents d'Identité (CRLDI)".

If you live in abroad, contact your local Haitian consulate or the Haitian embassy nearest you.

Since 2017 these CDLDI centers have been scattered in many major cities like Port-de-Paix, Trou-du-Nord, Hinche, Les Cayes, and many pars ot the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area.

No need to go stand in line at the only immigration office in Port-au-Prince like the old days.

Me and my wife renewed our Haitian passport in the our home town and it took less than a month.
