Haitians are already scared and the Miami Herald is not helping. The sad part is, they not only trying to sell more newspapers, indeed, things are not looking good for our fellow Haitians with TPS.

According to the Herald article, it doesn't matter how settled you are in the United States, if your TPS expires, you could be subject to arrest and deportation.

A decision is pending, everyone is waiting...

The 6-month extension of TPS back in May 2017 was just time for Haitians living with protection in the US to get everything ready to go home, documents and all. John Kelly said it himself back in May.

its purpose was to "allow Haitian TPS recipients living in the United States time to attain travel documents and make other necessary arrangements for their ultimate departure from the United States," then-DHS Secretary John Kelly said.
