Haiti - All Schools Closed for 3 days ahead of Hurricane Irma
Haiti's Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) has declared CLOSED all public and non-public schools in the entire country from Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 September 2017 in preparation for Hurricane Irma.

This hurricane is expected to hit Haiti hard and MENFP is taking no changes.
The MENFP invites departmental school directors to take all necessary steps to ensure full implementation of this provision.
Directors of schools are also invited to make all arrangements for the security of school materials and especially the archives of their respective institutions.
