Haiti's efforts to boost tourism appear to be paying off... The Caribbean country reported a 10.9 percent increase in stay-over visitors in 2015, according to the latest numbers from the Caribbean Tourism Organization...

That was the fourth-best increase of any Caribbean destination last year.

Haiti reported a total of 515,804 stay-over tourist arrivals last year, buoyed by a strong summer season that saw an 11.4 percent increase.

Haiti reported a 9.8 percent increase during the winter season.

Haiti should build strong affordable 2to3 bedrooms houses from $65,000 to $75,000 for the people working overseas to come to retire, to hibernate in all departments in Haiti.

Develop real estate in Haiti, create jobs in the hospitality industry in all departments.

Haiti needs airports in the South to develop tourist and real estate in the South of Haiti.

The Nippes, Grande Anse, Cayes are great places to retire, to vacation.

Haiti needs hotels and assisted living residence in every town for tourists to come to vacation, honeymoon, internship, even treatment under the sun in all seasons.

There is great profit in the hospitality industry for Haiti to reduce unemployment in Haiti.

The South of Haiti needs a Marriott hotel and nursing homes in the Nippes, Grande Anse, Cayes.
