POLITOUR - New Haiti Tourism Police Officers have just Graduated
The first promotion of the Tourist Police of Haiti (POLITOUR) have just graduated from the Haitian police academy. They are ready to hit the streets to serve and protect the legion of tourists expected to visit Haiti every year.

These new Haiti tourism officers, all 52 of them in this first promotion, speak a little English, a little Spanish, they are trained in tourism, geography, they can guide a tourist in the right direction, they can also arrest anyone who is disturbing the peace in the designated tourist areas of Haiti.
According to Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin these new agents will be patrolling the Haiti's tourist resorts, guiding tourists and taking action against anyone affecting the tourism sector (per Haiti Libre)
