I remember telling my mother, "the ONLY way I can get you to use the computer is if I put a bible in it..."

Then I had a great Idea... I started to explain to her how I would do it...

"I will do it in 3 languages Mom", I said, "and I will let people read it verse by verse and they will be able to see each verse in all 3 languages on the same page. This way anyone who wants to learn to speak english, French, or Creole can use the bible to do so..."

"That's a wonderful Idea," my mother replied, "but when will you do it?"

"When I have time..." I said... (That's like saying "Lè poul fè dan" / When chicken have teeth!)

I still don't have time but I did it... January 1st, 2005, that was the only mission on my mind.

"Domi Pa bay" I always say... 28 hours later, it's done!

They say if you want something done, give it to a busy man.

Well Mother... Here it is!... Go take a look!...

Because I had my mother in mind, I wanted to put something of hers in the site to make really personal.

So I opened the bible that she gave me when I left her house, I opened to it to Psalms 23, the Psalm whe though me when I was young, I took a picture of it.

So, everytime you go to ">FouyeBible.com[bb]]], remember that you are looking at Psalms 23 in Soeur Elianie's Bible.

Do you agree with me that this is a wonderful Idea?

• We have young Haitians who are trying to speak creole
• We have Haitian adults who grew up in Haiti and are fighting with the english language
• Some of us can read kreol, we hear french, speak english.

Now we can all read the same book.

Kill two birds with one stone I always say... The bible is a book that everyone must read; now you can read it in any language you want.

Now you can read it in the language your understand best and you can learn a different language in the process

You don't need a dictionary anymore... you already know what the verse said.
