No wonder my laptop is so sleek and slim, it doesn't have a bulky battery but I keep wondering, what is the downside of having a laptop with a built-in battery?

Don't get me wrong, non-removable laptop batteries can be replaces but by the consumer. you have to take it to a professional and that's gonna cost you some money.

So how do you take care of a laptop with a built in, non-removable batteries?

Here are 3 things I discovered:

1 - Make sure the laptop does not overheat.

Don't leave it in your car if you're gonna park it under the sun. make sure your laptop is well vented when you're using it.

Come to think of it, my laptop starting acting funny because I placed it on a chair with a wrapped in plastic (you know my Haitian people) while watching a movie on Netflix. So the vents below the laptop were covered and the darn thing overheated. Go figure!

2 - Make sure your battery charge does not go below 20% all the time.

It is a very good idea not to let your laptop battery discharge below 20%. It is also recommented not to let the battery charge over 80%. According to my researc this is the best way keep the battery in great condition for a long time.

All I have to do know is take my own advice and I'll be good to go!
