Coronavirus in the Caribbean : PAHO Calls to Intensify Preparedness and Response

The Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Dr. Carissa Etienne, is asking local health authorities in the Americas to intensify their Coronavirus preparedness and response plans in the country due to the proximity of the virus to Haiti and other Caribbean nations.


Feeling Sick

Brazil, Mexico, the United States and Canada already have cases of coronavirus in all these countries all countries where haitians live; places where the the passenger infected with coronavirus could easily hop on a plane and get to us in Haiti.

All remember what happened with MINUSTAH and cholera in Haiti.

Le directeur de l'Organisation panaméricaine de la santé (OPS), le Dr Carissa Etienne, demande aux autorités sanitaires locales des Amériques d'intensifier leurs plans de préparation et de réponse aux coronavirus dans le pays en raison de la proximité du virus avec Haïti et d'autres pays des Caraïbes.

Le Brésil, le Mexique, les États-Unis et le Canada ont déjà des cas de coronavirus dans tous ces pays, tous les pays où vivent les haïtiens; des endroits où un passager infecté par coronavirus pourrait facilement monter dans un avion et nous rejoindre en Haïti.
