Haitians in Miami Are Celebrating! Why?

There are many things happening in the Haitian community in Miami.

As I get in and out of my car, I listen to Radio Carnivale (AM 1020, Miami). that's where I get my news, that's where I find out what is happening.

I used to think I didn't care about Haiti or what is happening to her.

Right!!!

The older I get, the more I understand her history, the more I get involved, the more I fall in love with my country and my heritage.

Haitians, Haitian Americans, Americans with Haitian blod, lend me your ears.

Take time to learn about Haitian history. Trust me you have something to be really proud of.

Here goes!

The Haitians in miami are celebrating "Haitian Cultural Month". The month of May is Haitian cultural month in Miami.

There is a whole lot happening but I dont have time to explain.
