KREYOL: Mezanmi... Tande Koze... Yo Flanke deyò Ambassade Haitien nan Afrik du Sud poutèt yo pa peye Lwaye yo pandan 10 mwa pou yon total 44 mil dola US... Lapolis rantre nan ambassad la, sezi tout zafè yo, mete nan yon kamyon... Adjeyyyy Mesye... LOL... Kisa ou panse de sa???

Apparently, the Haitian Embassy failed to pay 10 months rent totaling R550,500 (South African rands), about $44,264 U.S. dollars...

According to an article published on IOL News, a diplomatic police officer told local media that the Haitian embassy called police claiming there was an armed robbery taking place when it was in fact the Sheriff and his personnel at the property.

The Haitian embassy tried to prevent the removal or their belongings from the property on the basis of "diplomatic immunity" but representatives of the owner of the property said "immunity does not extend to commercial transactions."

The Haitian Embassy belongings has been confiscated until they pay their rent... LOL...

What do you think about that?

There is plenty of manners to deal with a lack of financial resources and getting almost the same quality of services when you use your brain or people who are knowledgeable around you.

I have a problem what is not paying your rent have 2 do with immunity?

That's the reason our elected legislators have been broken the law mercilessly and they put everything under the umbrella of immunity.

Hey so called diplomats, learn the meaning of the word and acknowledge yourself when and how it's used
