Haiti no longer has an Embassy in Africa
The Republic of Haiti had decided to close its only embassy in the African continent
Haiti had its embassy Benin, Africa, since in February 2004, the Haitian Embassy's mission is to work to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, it said on their twitter page.
Haiti announced plans to close its only embassy on the African continent back in July 2016. it became official last week.
Until new provisions are made, Haitians living in the African continent will want to apply to the Consulate General of Haiti in Paris for any consular documents they may need.
