FLASH!!! First Case Of Cholera Confirmed In The United States!
According to a new article posted on WPBF TV, ABC Channel 25, West Palm Beach, FL, a woman was diagnosed with cholera in Torok County after visiting family in Haiti.
Dr. Thomas Torok, an official of the Florida Health Department told WPBF 25 News:
"She had been visiting family in the most affected areas in Haiti before her return to the U.S."
The woman has since recovered, her name has not been released due to privacy laws.
