According to an article published in the The New York Times, the new study by Doctors Without Borders discovered that it would be almost impossible to tell how many Haitians really died from Cholera in Haiti due to "incomplete surveillance and data collection, overwhelmed health clinics, the rapid spread of the disease and cholera's ability to kill quickly"

There are many, many people who died from cholera in Haiti whose deaths were never reported. The number may shock you!

"In some areas, the number of deaths may have been as much as 10 TIMES as high as that reported to the Haitian government, which derived its statistics largely from mortality information supplied by clinics and hospitals."
