Are you Ready for the Holidays? is Santa coming to visit?

December is here. The month for giving, the month for spending lots of money on gifts and travel... Let me ask you... Are you ready for the holidays... Will you and your family have a Merry Christmas this year?

I know quite few homes this year that Santa Claus will not be visiting...

Plain and simple, there is no money.

I don't think I am exaggerating by saying that a large majority of the Haitian diaspora is suffering from a lack of funds. Money does not come easy for them these days.

It is difficult for many of them to admit and face the fact that they are broke. So many of them continue to dive in debt in order to maintain the appearance of a normal life.

I in reading this you feel that i am talking about you, please forgive me. Also, please stop digging.

I just thought i'd share this message before some of you go out and accumulate more debts this holiday season.

I certainly hope you and your family have a Happy Holidays.

Do you have any advice or comments you would like to share?
