The day Angelina Jolie Met with President Preval in Haiti

On Saturday, June 19, 2010 , Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie flew to Haiti where he met with Haitian president Rene Preval.

It was a quiet unannounced visit to Haiti, No Brad Pitt and it seems the news media had no clue beforehand.

Angelina Jolie is a United Nations goodwill ambassador.

According to the Miami Herald, Angelina Jolie was on a "fact-finding trip to learn more about the situation of Haiti's children, particularly those left homeless and orphaned by the Jan. 12 earthquake."

She met with many officials in Haiti including judges, lawyers, ministry of social affairs officials, and U.N. Officials.
