Air Canada cancels flights to Haiti until April 29
Air Canada has decided to suspend flights between Montreal and Port-au-Prince on a temporary basis due so the recent unrest in Haiti.
The announcment from Air Canada read: "Due to ongoing civil unrest in Haiti, Air Canada non-stop service between Montreal and Port-au-Prince, Haiti, will be suspended up to and including Monday, April 29th."
This is following a travel warning issued by the Canadian government telling its citizens not to travel to Haiti following violent protest where the country was on lock town for nearly two weeks.
